Firstly i realised that there isnt actually a set code to how a digi pack should be set out ect. for this genre. so i pretty much have quite alot of freedom.
A group mood board, I felt, further confirmed this.
This is a mood board that we did as a group to help us make our own Digi pack designs to then be able to make our final digi-pack.
This mood board shows me that there isn’t a generic colour scheme or layout for this genre of music’s Digi Packs.
Most of them have the bands name or album title as a contrasting colour to make it stand out.
I will take this into account when making mine.

I thought of some typical items that represent this genre and its listeners. i came up with a simple list:
Bass Guitar
Electric Guitar
Drums
Mic
Skating
Skate wear
Skate Shoes
From this list i chose the most common and iconic stereo typical representation of this genre. i chose skate shoes. then i realized that the most common shoe is a pair of converses of vans.
I then sketched 2 images of these shoes incorporating our bands name and album title. (the names we chose as a group earlier) YouMeAtSix to MeYou&Her.

I showed my fellow group member and they helped me decide which sketch should be the main logo for my digi-pack. we came to a mutual decision to choose the bottom one.
